Harnessing the Infinite Power of Your Consciousness
Ever since I heard about Kim Peek, a savant who was the basis for the movie Rain Man, I have believed that what he and other savants are capable of doing should be possible for all of us. In fact, the discipline of Neuro-Linguistic Programming contends exactly this, by saying that what is possible for one is possible for all of us, barring any kind of impairment.
For the past 60 years I have been studying spirituality and especially consciousness, and what has dismayed me the most is the superstition of materiality to which most of us subscribe. I learned long ago that consciousness does not arise in the brain. Trees, plants, and insects don't have brains, but they have been shown by researchers to have awareness--which is consciousness. The brain is simply an interface between the body and consciousness.
It has been rewarding to learn that Quantum Physics agrees with mystics from thousands of years to the present who contend that consciousness is the ground of all being. In fact, one mystic has said, "Consciousness creates everything but consciousness itself."
Furthermore, there is only one Consciousness, expressed as everything that exists, so an ET called Bashar calls this the All That Is. It is an apt name.
Now the importance to us is that this consciousness is not divided into bits. If you have consciousness, you have all of it. There is no such thing as a tiny bit of consciousness, even though we try to measure intelligence--since to be a science, you need to be able to observe and measure the thing you are studying. You can't measure intelligence. You can only measure the performance of a person on a test of some kind.
There are a number of experts who have realized this and have begun to teach methods of getting more from our individual consciousness than most have believed possible. Dr. Win Wengar is one of them. He has a Nightingale CD program called The Einstein Factor, and another called Brain Boosters, both of which teach methods of getting performance from your consciousness that may amaze you. I'll talk about these in subsequent posts. For now, just be aware that you are smarter than you think, and there is nothing super-natural about what the Savants do. And you can learn how as well. Think on that for awhile.
